Over the past few weeks news of the birth of superstar couple Beyoncé’s and Jay Z’s daughter has been one of the most talked about topics across the globe. A spokesperson for the couple announced the arrival of Blue Ivy Carter last weekend, outside of the expensive Lenox Hill Hospital in New York where the birth took place. The couple, who have now been married for several years are said to be absolutely thrilled. Jay Z seemed especially overcome with joy at the recent birth of his daughter and within days had already taken to the studio to record an ode to his daughter. The track which is titled ‘Glory’ was released on the rapper’s website within days of his daughter’s birth and speaks volumes on his emotions at becoming a father. Furthermore, at the end of the track Jay Z has added poignant audio footage of his daughter’s first cries and credits her as a contributor to the track.
